PROCESS The auto insurance company faced challenges due to the lack of a digital solution for users to access and manage their plan information. Users could only change or cancel plans, or update personal information, through phone calls or emails. Together with the team, we proposed creating an internal portal where users would have complete access to personal information, plan details, cancellation options, and other functionalities. We started by identifying the key sections of the portal, organizing user flows, and creating an information architecture. This organizational process was crucial to ensure that users could easily and quickly access all sections. After several feedback meetings with the client and internal testing within the team, we successfully created a dynamic portal that provides users with essential information and the ability to manage their accounts with ease.
OUTCOME The implementation of the new internal portal significantly enhanced user experience for the auto insurance company. Users now benefit from seamless access to their personal information, plan details, and account management tools previously unavailable digitally. This dynamic portal not only improves user satisfaction but also boosts operational efficiency by reducing reliance on traditional communication channels for customer service tasks.
